The Tamil Nadu government has announced a series of initiatives catering to different aspects of public life.

On October 6th, residents can witness a thrilling free military aircraft show at Marina Beach from 11 AM to 2 PM.

For the economy, potential changes to the Goods and Services Tax (GST) are on the table. The government is considering a reduction on essential items like food, medicine, and bicycles while looking to increase GST on non-essential goods like clothing, cosmetics, and cold beverages.

Infrastructure development is also a key focus. Plans are underway to establish a new airport in Parandur, alongside a cargo hub village. Additionally, a Green Park is set to be developed on 118 acres in Guindy.

Technology advancements are also being implemented. The government bus booking website (tnstc.in) and app have been upgraded for a better user experience, allowing for easier and faster ticket booking. Additionally, the E-pass service will continue to operate in Udhagamandalam (Ooty) and Kodaikanal.

Other initiatives include an extension for free Aadhaar renewal until December 14th, a strong directive from the DGP to prioritize cyber crime recovery, providing laptops to government school teachers, and potential plans to construct an expressway between Chennai and Madurai.
