Service Roads Planned for Busy Bypass Stretches in Chennai

Tamil Nadu Public Works Minister Velu recently met with Central Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari in Delhi. During the meeting, he submitted an 11-point petition outlining demands, including requests for the necessary links and facilities along the bypass road from Madhavaram to Tambaram and Irumbuliyur. Currently, areas such as Ambattur Estate and Pattaravakkam lack adequate service roads along the bypass. In response to the Tamil Nadu government the National Highways Authority has planned to construct service roads in the missing segments of the bypass road.
